Halloween/Vacation

Carter was a little monkey for Halloween!
Carter loved playing with his cousin Jake. I love this picture! I wish it hadn't been blurry. Oh well... it's still adorable!

Carter's first time at the beach!

We had such a good time in California with Cindy and her family.

Carter's first flight! He did super well!

We went to Las Vegas for a business meeting!

We were on the 32nd floor of our hotel in Vegas. Carter's favorite part of the whole trip was looking out the window at the big city!

Such a cutie!

Major Harris came to Elkins!

Carter loved his pumpkin!

Yummy!

Carter loved playing in the leaves!

I love to dress him up and take pictures! Luckily he loves it too!
Here are just a few of the things that we have done. We went on a business trip to Las Vegas Nevada, then from there we went to see Cindy and her family in California. While we were there we got to celebrate Carter's first Halloween. He got to taste candy for the first time! He loved that part of Halloween! We had such a good time while we were visiting. I hope next time we can stay a little longer. The time went by just too quick!
Sorry these pictures are all out of order!
I will post again real soon.

So Much to Blog about.....

House:

We finally got into our home on October first!!! It is so exciting to finally be in a home!!! I have pretty much gotten everything put together. It is so perfect for us. It has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a basement, a garage, and a nice yard. We love it!!

I have been on a cooking spree ever since we have moved in. For a month I wasn't able to cook, and we had to go out to eat all of the time. Going out to eat was fun for a week, but after that it got very old. I just wanted to eat some home cooked food. Now I can cook all I want. The best part, is that it is super easy to clean up now. I love having a dishwasher!!

Every time I cook and clean, I am so grateful to have a home. To finally have a place to put everything, and to finally be organized. I absolutely love it!!!!!

Carter loves the house too. When we first got into our home, he was doing a hyperventilating thing. A video will be posted below.

Here are some pictures of our home:

Carter:

Carter is getting so big. He is doing so much these day's. He gets into everything he is not suppose to. He crawls super fast, pulls himself up on furniture, gives kisses, drinks from a straw, said mama, walks while holding on, and he even made his way up on the first step. He loves to explore!

He also has a love for food. He eats everything we give him, and loves it. He is not picky at all. He has even tried Buffalo chicken soup. I thought he wouldn't like it because it is a little spicy, but he didn't seem to care. He just wanted more.

He loves giving kisses! The other day he crawled up to me and gave me a big kiss on the cheek. I loved it!! It will always be a memory I will treasure. He did it because he wanted to, not because I asked.

I love him so much. He is such a big part of my life.

Forest Festival:

The Forest Festival was this last week. It was Carter's first festival, and he loved it! He got to go to the petting zoo and see pigs, lama's, sheep, and a pony. He loved to pet all of the animals! He also got to pet a Anaconda. I'm not sure what he thought about that.

He got to go on his very first ride. The Mary-go-round. He smiled the whole time. I think he liked the light's better than the ride.

He also got to see a parade for the first time. On Friday night they had the Fire mans parade. It was all of the emergency vehicles. He loved all of the light's! The next day was the regular parade. He watched for a while, then fell asleep.

Carter Loved the Petting Zoo.

Bethany held Carter almost the whole parade.

Carter loved the Festival!!

We had such a fun time!

Patience

Our life is so crazy here. We have been in the process of buying a house for the last few months. We were told that closing would be the first week of August. It is now the 13th of September and guess what we don't have..... A House. I am getting so frustrated!! We have been living in the hotel during the week and having to leave for the weekends. The hotel is booked on weekends. It really Stinks!! Carter has gotten out of his good sleeping habit's because of this. He wakes up every few hours to eat. It reminds me of when he was a newborn baby. I can't break him of this habit until we get into our home. Every week we get so excited, then they call and tell us they need something else. I am losing my patience! The only thing that is keeping me sane is our families. We have been able to see both of our families the last couple weeks. It has helped get the house off of our minds. Here are some cute pictures. Enjoy!
